There are free guided tours in Israel every day.

Several discoveries this year make Israel even more appealing to archaeologists.

Just off of some of Israel's most popular beaches lies a cave that was set up more than 3000 years ago. Dozens of pottery and bronze artifacts were placed in the cave for a burial ceremony that took place 3,300 years ago.

Jerusalem has a 1.3 mile cycling tunnel that is part of Israel's focus on promoting more active tourism. The Jerusalem Ring Path is a 26 mile cycling route that encircles the city and offers views of its famous landscapes and sights.
