Jim Boeheim had some choice words for the Big Ten's performance in the NCAA tournament last year.

Boeheim said during Syracuse's media day on Friday that he would like to play in the NCAA tournament.

What you want about the Big Ten can be said. They didn't perform well in the tournament. I think they did that. They won all of their games in their league. You aren't good if you can't play in the tournament.

Nine teams from the Big Ten made it to the NCAA tournament. There are four teams that earned top-five seeds in the tournament.

There were only two teams that made it to the Sweet 16.

Since 2000, the Big Ten hasn't had a national champion, although Indiana, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin have all won national titles.

Three of the five teams from the ACC went to the Elite Eight. The Tar Heels beat Duke in the Final Four before falling to the Jayhawks.

The Syracuse team didn't make the tournament. The Orange missed out on March Madness for the first time in three years.

Boeheim continued tout the league during his presser.

"Kansas was the best team last year," Boeheim1-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-6556 was1-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-6556 Do you think the best league is the best? How many games did the league win and how many lost in the NCAA tournament? The best league to me is that one.

The Big Ten hasn't lost since the beginning of the year and we will see how the two conferences fare early on. The match up at Illinois is on November 29th.
