When the Atlanta Braves intentionally walked Kyle Schwarber in the third baseman's at bat in Game 3 of the NLCS on Friday, his focus narrowed just a little bit more.

After the 9-1 win, Hoskins said yes. I'm a person. I compete. Before I step in the box, they're telling me something.

Kyle Schwarber was 0 for 17 in the series, but the Braves wanted to face him. One of the longest tenured Philadelphia players made Atlanta pay when he hit a three run home run on the first pitch of the game.

He hadn't pitched in over a month because of an injury.

Brian Snitker said they wanted him to go four. If he could get out of that third, then that's it. It didn't occur.

Rob Thomson said that Strider's stuff went down a little bit and his hitters were prepared. After hitting the ball into the left field stands, he barely remembered his bat spike.

"I didn't know what I did until a few hours later," he said. It's just something that happened. It was enjoyable.

The outfielder did a flip of his own.

Harper said that he threw his bat at the same time as the others. I was happy.

A few moments later,Harper hit a two-run shot off Dylan Lee. It helped put the game out of reach as the Phils scored six times in the second. The park went crazy.

The crowd was great. It's absolutely crazy. There is an electric device. I have never imagined anything like that. I'm getting chills again because it was so cool.

The fact that this year's team hadn't even stepped foot in their own ballpark in three weeks made the fans want to see them in the playoffs. Philadelphia ended the regular season with a 10 game road trip and then beat the Cards in the playoffs.

That was followed by two games in Atlanta before finally returning home and taking a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series. The team always thought they would be in this situation.

He did not think there was any doubt. You go on a road trip for the first time. It's huge for us to come back here and take the home field advantage away from Atlanta.

ThePhillies can advance to the NLCS with a victory on Saturday. Noah Syndergaard will start for Thomson. The ball will be given to Morton.

Players were imagining what it would be like to win a game in front of a large crowd.

The crowd was going to be a big factor in the game. We were aware of it. It blew everyone's expectations. It was a huge part of the victory because as things get louder, more good things happen and they get even louder.

We'll see if we can keep that going tomorrow.

The game would take place on Sunday back in Atlanta. If the Braves can win on Saturday, that's all that's left.

We have to win one in a row. We have to do that.
