It had been about a month since the ClevelandBrowns fans made fun of the victims of Deshaun Watson. His suspension is almost over. A new civil lawsuit was filed against the quarterback Thursday night, saying he pressured a woman into having sex with him during a 2020 massage.

It is the 26th lawsuit that has been filed against the man. In Harris County, Texas, there was a lawsuit. The masseuse was allegedly solicited on social media. There was a request for a massage at the Houstonian hotel in December of 2020. She was paid $300 for her services, with her normal hourly rate being $115.

A series of disturbingly similar encounters have been reported by more than 20 women who have filed suit against the football player. My client spent nearly two years trying to cope with the shame and trauma from all that he has stolen from her and the daily pain that has become her reality. The strength and bravery of the other women gave my client the courage to speak out. She wants justice for herself and her own healing, but also for the more than 20 women who refused to be shamed into silence, and the victims who have not come forward.

The lawsuit was not commented on by the attorney until he learns the identity of the woman. Every other civil case has been ordered by courts to include the name of the person who filed it. In the summer of 2015, all but one of the lawsuits against Watson was settled, with one being dropped when the judge asked for the names of the defendants.

The latest lawsuit against the man was not commented on by the head coach of the Cleveland Indians.

He is serving an 11 game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy with a $5 million fine and mandatory treatment. As part of the settlement, he was banned from the training facility for a period of time. He won't be able to practice with the team until November 14 and won't be allowed to play until December.
