Peacock Premium subscribers will be able to view extra footage and interviews from within an episode of "The Real Housewives."

Attendees will be able to watch an episode from the second season of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" at the convention. The feature is only being tested on a few devices but will eventually be rolled out to other devices.

The new feature will be introduced in the third season of the hit series. Premium subscribers will be able to interact with three episodes of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" with the option to watch extended clips and interviews.

As viewers watch the show, they will be prompted to get their remote ready for an "interactive scene" and have around 15 seconds to decide if they want to watch extended footage of that scene as well as exclusive interviews, which go deeper into what characters were thinking during that particular scene

The image is called Peacock.

The experience is about giving fans the choice to dive deeper into the most dramatic moments of the show.

Anyone who wants to watch a director's cut-like version of the episode can, though viewers are not required to choose anything. It's an opt-in experience. It isn't something where we're forcing people to change their viewing habits. They can return to the main story at any time.

It is hoped that this new experience will get new fans to the platform. He said that it was an opportunity to show people that Peacock was a good place to come for this type of content.

NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell boasted last week that the company added over 2 million paid subscribers in the third quarter.

The scenes for the interactive feature exclusive to the platform were filmed in close partnership with Peacock. During a scene, Peacock is considering giving viewers the option to see what happens in the next room.

We were given a sneak peek of the feature in the demo. In the second episode of the second season, Dorinda invited the other cast members to her house. Extra footage of Dorinda blowing up at Brandi was included in an interactive scene.

In order to engage viewers further, Peacock has invested in interactive features. The catch up with key plays was announced in May. The Halloween Nightmare Game is an interactive virtual escape room game that requires the viewer to click on different objects on the screen.

Today's announcement comes on the heels of a partnership between Meta and NBCUniversal to bring the Peacock app to the Meta Quest virtual reality headset.
