According to sources, France's N'Golo Kante won't be able to play in the World Cup due to an injury.

The news of the injury to the 31-year-old is a blow to the France team as he played a key role in their World Cup triumph.

Sources say that Kante's absence is bad news for Graham Potter, who will be without the player until mid-January.

Potter said that Kante was going to see a consultant this weekend after his latest setbacks.

"It's not good news, but anything other than that at this point, I can't give you anything else," Potter said.
