Phil Foden has signed a new contract with Manchester City which will keep him at the club for another ten years.
The 22-year-old had a previous deal that was due to end in 2020.
Since making his debut in November of last year, Foden has scored 52 goals in 182 games.
Foden said it was hard to put into words how happy he was.
It's a dream. I've been a fan of the city for a long time. I've been training here for a long time and I've also been a ballboy.
I am so happy to know that I will be a part of the club until the year 2027.
Foden, who has two goals in 18 caps for England, has won 11 trophies with City, including four premier league titles.
Each of the last two seasons, he has won the Young Player of the Year award from the Professional Footballers' Association.
Foden said that the Spaniard helped him develop over the last five years.
"Pep and his staff guide me every single day on the training field and so much of that is down to them," said Foden.
Working with them allows me to improve even more and become the best player I can be.
I feel like I can learn and win more trophies with the squad we have here. The two most important things to me are those.
