Electric bikes are an alternative eco-friendly mode of transportation, but most people who own one already have many bikes. If the person buying an ebike is already riding a bike, skateboard, or scooter, it isn't really reducing carbon emissions.
Some companies make bikes bigger or more carlike to appeal to non-bike riders. This approach is wrong. I don't ride motorcycles. If you're smaller or mobility challenged, big bikes are frightening. I just want to go to the grocery store and not worry about parking.
The Tern's step-through was so low that I couldn't think of anything else to do with this task. It's just cruise it out. It's too expensive if you're not mobility-impaired, but it's easy to grab a bike on your way out the door.
A low rider.
This frame is the subject of discussion. cruiser electric bikes are advertised as step- throughs. The lower the tube, the easier it is to mount it. I prefer a horizontal top tube because it's easier to carry. The top tube is always straight. It's not always as much as you would think.
The Bosch Performance motor has the lowest top tube of any motor in the world. You only have to lift your leg about 15 inches off the ground or 4 inches lower than the already-low step-through on my Tern GSD. It was so low that my muscles couldn't handle it.
I am not a mobility challenged person. I can imagine having a hip or knee problem and having a bike that is easy to ride. I like wearing long dresses around the house, but I have to change out of them when I ride my bike or skateboard. I didn't have to worry about flashing my neighbors when I biked to get a burger with my kids
Just like a CholoSpin, most of theNBD is designed for extreme comfort and easy use. The handlebars are curved around so you can sit up easily, and the grips are large so you can rest your wrists. The Bosch display is large and bright, and the buttons are large and clearly labeled, so you can identify them easily.
