He was dismissed by Spurs in November after just four months.

In Nuno's first season in charge of Wolves, the team was promoted to the premier league.

The club returned to continental competition for the first time in 39 years under his watch.

The Wolves finished 13th in his last season in charge. He led the team to three wins in his last 13 matches.

Bringing Nuno back - a 'great shout' or a 'big mistake'?

On the Wolves club page, we asked if Nuno should be retained. Some of the comments are interesting.

Nuno should be given another chance now that we have different players, and he seems to inspire the crowd.

I'm not sure if Nuno and the Wolves chairman have put the hatchet to rest.

I was sad to see Nuno go but I didn't think his style of play would get us further. We never scored enough goals because his squad was too small. It would be brave to bring him back. The majority are not his players. Consider a short-term contract if you want to wait for the next president.

I would want to look at Nuno in his eyes and see that he is back to his old self.

When I heard Nuno was leaving, I felt a punch to the gut. I would want him to come back.

Wolves are in a difficult situation and should not panic. I don't agree with Nuno returning, it's a big mistake. Wolves must be patient. They need to survive this season and keep going.
