A man was arrested for assault on an officer, who may have suffered a broken wrist, and 12 other people were arrested for unrelated offenses.

October 14th, UK.

Four police officers were injured with two needing hospital treatment after Anderlecht fans ripped out seats and threw flares at the end of the game.

Near the end of the match in east London, there was trouble as West Ham won 2-1.

One of the officers needs stitches for a head injury, while the other needs a broken wrist. Two other officers were hit on their heads.

Officers had to use protective equipment to restore calm after chairs and flares were thrown.

A man was arrested for allegedly attacking the officer who had a broken wrist.

The assaults on officers did not lead to the arrest of 12 people.

The players' job is to get on with it, and I think they did that.

David Moyes praises Anderlecht for condemning the crowd trouble at The London Stadium in West Ham's Europa Conference League match.

We don't want any trouble. We're in a different society and a different world now and it's not what any football club wants to have connected to them.

Anderlecht will work with UEFA to make sure action is taken against their fans.

"We don't tolerate this kind of behavior, not in our home stadium and not away," said a club spokesman. We will take it up with the fans. We would like to apologize to West ham.

The press officer needs to stand up for the club. They're a really good football club and it's a huge credit to them. They want to make sure their club is protected.

Everyone's attention is diverted when there's crowd trouble. It's one of those things that you don't want to talk about, so I didn't care about it. I don't want anyone to notice it anymore.
