Barcelona will wear a special shirt against Real Madrid on Sunday in honor of Drake, who became the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify.
The OVO owl logo of the Canadian rapper will replace the streaming service's logo for El Clasico.
It is part of a plan to bring football and music together.
"This doesn't feel real but it is," 35-year-old Drake said on Instagram.
The warm-up shirts will have the 'Drake 50' logo on the front and the 'Xavi' logo on the back.
Our alliance with Spotify is much more than that. Barcelona's marketing vice-president said that it is a strategic relationship through which they seek to bring together two worlds that can arouse emotion.
The innovative spirit of our collaboration is demonstrated by this initiative.
For the first time in our history, we are replacing our main sponsor with an internationally acclaimed artist.
Our potential to become a unique platform to offer experiences that help bring us closer to our fans while reaching out to new audiences around the world has been shown.
"We were really excited to celebrate one of the biggest games of the year and mark Drake's milestone as the first artist to reach 50 billion streams."
There's no bigger stage than El Clasico and we want this partnership to be a celebration of fans, players and artists on a global stage.
