According to a report from The Associated Press on Thursday, the Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle's roughing-the-passer penalty was looked at by the league to see if Brady tried to kick him or if he should be fined.

Kickers can be fined up to $12,500 for a first offense and up to $15,500 for a second offense.

The flag was thrown for slinging Brady to the ground during the game. Brady tried to kick Jarrett, but he didn't hit him.

When asked if he was aware that Brady might have tried to kick Jarrett, the head coach said he didn't see any of it.

In Week 5 of the season, Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Chris Jones was fined for roughing up a player because the hits didn't seem to warrant a flag.

Fines for roughing the passer are doubled for a second offense. This was the first offense for both of them.
