The Houston Astros took a 2-0 lead in the American League Division Series with a 4-2 victory over the SeattleMariners on Thursday thanks to a two-run home run by Yordan Alvarez.
In the first game of the series, the Astros had trailed by four going into the ninth, but they got a three-run shot from Alvarez that gave them an 8-7 victory.
With the Thursday home run, he became the first player in major league postseason history to hit multiple career go-ahead homers when his team was behind, and both of his came in his past two games.
