Meta-formerly- Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has unveiled his new look for the company's custom Metaverse, but it still looks like a complete waste of time.

During the company's annual virtual reality conference, the company's founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, showed off a new version of his character.

He has legs now, which isn't really setting the bar very high.

According to the New York Times, "frustrated" Zuckerberg had his new bipedal avatars fast-tracked because of the company's mockery of the legsless avatars.

Money Walks

Despite spending $10 billion to flesh out its take on the metaverse, Meta still doesn't have much to show.

Since the announcement, many people have pointed out that the new-legged avatars look like video game characters from long ago.

One user said that it was funny that each time the internet bullied him, he rebuilds his metaverse from the ground up to make a newavatar.

It's hilarious that the company spent so much on trying to make him not look like he deserves a metaswirlie, said another.

This latest update to the Facebook Metaverse debacle is an all-too-salient reminder of how far a tech billionaire like Zuckerberg will go in order to get what he wants.
