United Airlines is increasing its service to Australia.

United Airlines Increases Australia Service

With borders fully re-opened in all Australian states, United is restoring a number of routes, adding a new route and increasing frequencies on a key route.

SFO-SYD Doubles In December

The second fight between San Francisco and Australia will take place on December 14.

The second service will run three times a week.

There will be an additional flight from SFO on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.

LAX-MEL, IAH-SYD Returns

The United will restart two routes later this month. There will be three flights per week.

SFO-BNE Launches

On October 28, 2022, United will launch a new route toBrisbane. The plane will be a Boeing 787-9.

  • 48 business class “Polaris” lie-flat seats
  • 21 premium economy “Premium Plus” recliners
  • 188 economy class seats
    • 39 Economy Plus seats with up to five extra inches of legroom
    • 149 standard seats

service will operate 3 times a week

There is a new service to be announced by United Airlines.

Seven flights will take us to Australia.

  • Los Angeles ⇄ Melbourne (restarts October 28, 2022)
  • Los Angeles ⇄ Sydney
  • San Francisco ⇄ Brisbane (starts October 28, 2022)
  • San Francisco ⇄ Melbourne
  • San Francisco ⇄ Sydney (second service – launches December 14, 2022)

The service from San Francisco to New Zealand has been restored.

CONCLUSION

There will be a second SFO-SYD flight as well as a new service toBrisbane when United Airlines brings back its full line-up of pre-pandemic service. Expect these flights to be full.
