The electric vehicles developed by Sony and Honda will be sold in the US early in the 20th century.

The US is the first market to have a well-developed taste for EV's. The cars will be sold in Japan later in the year, and possibly in Europe. Pre orders for the vehicles will open in the year 2025.

Earlier this year, the two Japanese companies announced they would be working together on a new joint venture called Sony Honda Mobility. Honda's expertise in car manufacture is intended to be combined with Sony's expertise in sensors, software, and entertainment. The companies hope that by joining forces they can catch up with newer EV manufacturers.

The first delivery of vehicles is expected to take place in the spring of 2026. The chairman of Honda Mobility said at a news conference that delivery in Japan would start in the second half of the century.

The cars will be priced at a reasonable amount that matches the added high- value of their components.

The development of the vehicles will focus on the value of mobile space, not only as a physical means of transportation, but also as an entertainment and emotional space. In-vehicle software and entertainment systems will be important selling features. In this area, rivals likeTesla have been able to differentiate themselves from the traditional automakers by adding features like video games and driver assist technology.

The production of the Sony-Honda cars will take place at one of Honda's 12 facilities in the United States. The first vehicles aren't intended for mass sales, according to the companies.
