Randy Johnson is still combining his two favorite pastimes, photography and bird's eye view of the world beneath him. He was the tallest player in Major League Baseball history at 6 feet 10 inches. He might have thrown down at Judge's strike zone.

Johnson's passion for photography goes back to when he studied photojournalism at the University of Southern California in the early 80's and continued during his playing career when he shot concerts He ran a company logo that mocked the bird he eviscerated with a pitch in a spring training game. The Dove incident happened in 2001 when Johnson threw a pitch that made a dove explode with his pitch.

The odds of Johnson hitting a dove with his pitch are higher than the average pitcher's, but the improbability of that moment made it truly legendary. He is one of the few pitchers who can reach the altitudes.
