Apple has not deviated from a rectangular watch face since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015. The result is one of the better round smart watches that we've seen.

The round face of the Google Watch makes it hard to see, but they have adopted a darkUI that makes it easier to see. You're getting more display area on the Series 8 because Apple has cut down on the amount of screen real estate. The round form factor works well, but it's not great when notifications are coming in because it's a rectangular notification box trying to fit in a circular display

The size of the watch is delicate. The Apple Watch Series 8 is 44mm in diameter. The larger and more feature rich Apple Watch Ultra is more similar to the 41mm Apple Watch.

The buttons on the Pixel watch are similar to the ones on the Apple watch. Some of the options include a Sport Band-like straps, as well as other options. The bands click in like they do on the Apple watch.

Many of the same features can be found in the Apple Watch Series 8 and thePixel Watch. The similarities between the Apple Watch and the Pixel Watch are obvious.

Detailed workout tracking with heart rate zones and support for around 40 types of workouts can be found in it. Sleep tracking and fall detection are coming later in the year. The Series 8 does not have a temperature sensor or blood oxygen sensor.

A premium subscription is required for some of the health tracking features. If you want options like the traditional Fitbit readiness score, you have to pay this fee. Some features will be locked after six months.

The battery life on the watch is variable. The always-on display depletes quickly and there is a feature that can drop it down. It can last for up to 24 hours with those options turned off.

One day, the Apple could offer another display design that is similar to the one on thePixel Watch. If you have an iPhone, you're not going to want to pick one of these, but if you have an Apple Watch, you'll be able to.
