The allegation that Herschel Walker paid for an ex-girlfriend's abortion has consumed his campaign over the last week, but so far it hasn't given his opponent much of a boost.

According to a recent poll of likely voters in Georgia, Democratic incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock is still in the lead.

The spread has not changed from last month.

Walker has been accused of paying for a woman to get an abortion and impregnated her in a Daily Beast report.

Walker vowed to file a defamation suit after denying the reports that he paid for the abortion.

The woman was reported to be the mother of one of the children that Walker confirmed from the campaign trail were his. Christian Walker, Walker's adult son, was the only child he had publicly acknowledged. Walker has called for a total ban on abortion as a Senate candidate, and he has always been for life.

The elder Walker was called a liar by his son in a series of angry social media posts. Herschel was accused of being unfaithful to his family.

The woman told The New York Times that Walker wanted her to have another abortion when she became pregnant again in 2011. The woman said that she had to force Walker to pay for the abortion.

Walker told ABC News on Tuesday that he now knows the woman's identity, after previously saying he didn't know her name. Walker told ABC that the woman had lied.

Walker's race in the key swing state could decide which party controls the U.S. Senate.

Outside groups have been running ads about the family drama, but Warnock has remained quiet about his opponent's abortion scandal.

The abortion scandal broke a few days after the poll was taken. The poll had a margin of error that was greater than 3%.

Half of the people in the survey have an unfavorable view of him, while 39% have a favorable opinion of him.

According to the respondents, Walker does not care about average Georgia residents, he does not have good leadership skills, and he does not honesty.

According to a press release, Herschel Walker is down by seven in the 4th quarter and still has a chance to win the Georgia Senate race.

Inflation is the top issue among Peach State Republicans, and no other issues came close to matching it. Abortion was the top issue for Democrats, followed by election laws, gun violence, health care and inflation.

42% of independents put inflation first, according to the survey.

The survey found a virtual tie between Kemp andAbrams. The RealClearPolitics polling average shows Kemp with a slight advantage.
