The Knicks aren't likely to extend Reddish before the deadline.
The Atlanta Hawks traded Reddish to the Knicks in January as part of a deal for Kevin Knox.
Reddish was the 10th pick in the NBA draft. He didn't find a role with the Hawks, playing in 118 games over three years.
After the trade, Reddish only appeared in 15 games for the Knicks before he injured his shoulder. He didn't show much before the injury, with 6.1 points on 41.5 percent shooting.
Reddish only played 11 minutes against Detroit because of an ankle injury. He played 22 minutes against the Pacers and only scored two points on 1- of-7 shooting.
I didn't shoot the ball well. Reddish told reporters after the game that he had shown flashes. I did what I was capable of. It's not what I'm used to. I'm not sure what to think.

The Knicks went 41-31 and were the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. They failed to make the playoffs as the 11th team in the east.
Reddish hasn't established himself as a rotation player for a playoff caliber team. There is no reason for the Knicks to extend his contract based on his performance over the last three years.
Reddish will be a restricted free agent next summer if there isn't a deal by then.
