We have legs. It might be possible. At least for the executives. Yes,hell yes?
Between showing off a number of not-yet-met metaverse tech goals and announcing every corporate collaboration imaginable, Mark Zuckerberg used a decent chunk of his keynote presentation to show off all of the upgrades coming to avatars in the company's main metaverse
As Zuck wanted to show off, legs are on their way. In a pre-recorded session, the founder and developer of the world appeared as their new-and-improved, not just a rendering of what the world could be.
It was odd that only they had them, and not the people gathered around to cheer them on. Meta is trying to make up for lost revenue with a pay per limb model.
Zuck's expensive metaverse vision, one centered on both realism and complete immersion, has been hampered by the lack of legs. The way he talked about the no-leg situation made it clear that the criticism gets to him.
"Because legs are hard, other virtual reality systems don't have them either," said Zuck.
According to Zuck, Meta claims to have solved the problem by using artificial intelligence, which is able to statistically track and predict how aHorizon Worlds avatar's limbs would naturally follow any given movement. vola: legs for all would no longer be a problem. Sometime at some point. It's probably a possibility.
Anyhow. Cheers to Zucko and his top metamates as they bunny hop and backstab through the rest of the world with their still-glossy digital selves.
Remember, everybody. The legs are not easy to walk on. It's for everyone.
Meta was able to figure out legs for its character.
