A TikToker with 7.9 million followers is facing backlash after she begged viewers for donations.
The video was uploaded on October 6. She said she entered her card details into an online bid for a couch, and the footage shows her crying in a car. The website charged her account even though she said in the video that she was joking.
I accidentally bought a $100,000 couch according to an on-screen caption.
She said in the video that she almost crashed her car when she saw it, and asked if anyone had a million dollars to donate. Can you lend me money if you have a billion dollars?
Commenters didn't understand why she would enter her card details if she didn't want to buy a couch.
One top comment said a girl puts in card info as a joke. "Why don't you put your information in?" asked another person.
The follow-up to TikTok was captioned, "They won't give me a refunds on the couch." She said that she was going to have to set up an OnlyFans account to make money and that she needed money for dental work and a side mirror.
I don't want to work. She said in the video that she was going to throw up because she didn't get her money back.
There is a link to an Only Fans account in her bio.
Some commenters didn't think her story was true.
