Steve Kerr said that Draymond Green will rejoin the team on Thursday.

Green has not been with the team since last week. Though he was fined, he was not suspended.

"This is the biggest crisis we've had since I've been here," Kerr said. It's serious. We are not flawless. We will trust that this is the best decision for our team, because we have experience together. There's a lot of work to be done. The whole of us.

Green is expected to play in the Warriors' final preseason game on Friday and will be available for the season opener.

Stephen Curry and other players were also consulted during the decision-making process. There were many meetings with Kerr and the front office. Kerr said that Draymond was willing to get back out on the floor with his teammate.

Green apologized to the team before practice on Thursday and then left the facility.

The incident was shown in a video that was leaked. Green was seen shoving a Warriors veteran in a video that was published by the website. Several people at the practice intervene to break up the fight. There wasn't a video that showed what happened.

The altercation did not stem from upcoming and ongoing contract negotiations for the two men.

The Warriors and Green agreed that he should take more time away from the team. He stepped away from the team indefinitely after he apologized.

Kerr said that the culture has been damaged by the incident. You have to fix that.

Kerr said there is a new challenge to overcome with the younger players who don't have a relationship with Green. Kerr said that he will be paying close attention to how the young and new players look at Green and how he can mentor them.

Kerr said he was giving him the benefit of the doubt because he thought he had earned it.
