Hours after a police report was taken on Adams pushing down a man at the conclusion of the Raiders' 30-29 loss at the Kansas City Chiefs on his way to the locker room, Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniels voiced his support for him.

"I don't know what may or may not come from the league at this point in time," he said.

"I support Davante very much as a human being." He's a good guy. I am aware that was a bad situation. We don't want any of our men to be doing that. He's aware of that. He knows that. I know the person and I don't think he intended to do that.

We'll comply whatever they ask of us. We are in a wait-and-see situation at the moment.

A statement was released by the Kansas City Police Department.

A photographer is at the game. He was injured at the end of the game. He made arrangements for a private vehicle to take him to the hospital. It is thought that the injuries are not life threatening. The assault unit detectives will investigate the incident and work with the city or state prosecutor to determine the charges.

According to the report, the investigation was expected to take longer than a couple of days.

Adams apologized for pushing the man down.

"I want to apologize to the guy, there was some guy running off the field, and he jumped in front of me, and I pushed him, and he ended up on the ground," Adams said at the time. I wanted to apologize to him because he was running in front of me and I was frustrated. I should have responded in a different way. I would like to apologize to him.

The Raiders are going to have a week off.
