Meta's virtual reality avatars now have...legs

There is a "mode between video off and video on" in the new, more detailed version of theHorizon Worldsavatar introduced by Mark Zuckerberg. It has legs.

You'll be able to use theseavatars across the app and you can even show up as youravatar in video meetings thanks to a partnership with zoom. The avatars can be built into mobile apps if they are extended to the other two operating systems.

Meta is trying to expand the range of skin tones, abilities, facial features, and hair and clothing styles that can be used in the game.

Depending on how fancy you want to get, soon you'll be able to buy virtual Prada and Balenciaga threads at an avatars clothing store.
