GROUP A

The next games are on Wednesday: Rangers vs.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Napoli3300+119
2 - Liverpool320106
3 - Ajax3102-23
4 - Rangers3003-90

Will qualify with a win or draw at home to Amsterdam.

A win over Rangers and a loss to Amsterdam would leave the Reds needing at most one point from their final two games.

If they win against Napoli, they will be in a better position to qualify. They need to win both of their remaining games to have any chance of qualification.

If Rangers don't get a point in the competition, they will be out of the competition.

GROUP B

The next games are Club Brugge vs. Atletico Madrid.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Brugge3300+79
2 - Porto3102-33
3 - Leverkusen3102-13
4 - Atletico3102-33

Club Brugge will qualify for the round of 16 with a win or draw at Atlante. If Leverkusen-Porto is a draw, they will top the group.

The battle for second place in Group B is very tight, and Porto have only one home game left, against Atlante on Matchday 6.

They need to win at home to give themselves a good chance of getting through. They would lose the head-to-head with the Portuguese side if they lost another game.

The Spanish club still have two home games to play, but a loss to Club Brugge would make it difficult for them to make the playoffs.

GROUP C

Barcelona vs Inter Milan is on Wednesday.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Bayern3300+99
2 - Inter3201+16
3 - Barca3102+13
4 - Plzen3003-110

If Barcelona don't beat Inter, then we'll qualify with a win against Plzen.

Inter Milan will make it through to the next round with a win. A win at home to Plzen on Matchday 5 would send them through with a head-to-head win over Barcelona.

They need to win at home to have a realistic chance of reaching the knockout rounds.

Victoria Plzen have little chance of progressing with no points or goals. If Barcelona beats Inter, they will still be in the running for the title.

GROUP D

The next games are on Wednesday: Spurs vs Eintracht.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Sporting3201+26
2 - Spurs311104
3 - Frankfurt3111-24
4 - Marseille310203

No team can qualify on Matchday 4 in this extremely tight group, but they will have a chance with a win at home.

A victory over Frankfurt will give Spurs the head-to-head over the German team, and it's possible they could then qualify with a win at home to Sporting.

A win in North London gives Eintracht Frankfurt the chance to progress if they beat Marseille in a fortnight.

There is a draw between Spurs and Frankfurt. If there is a winner in the other game, a path to the round of 16 won't be easy.

GROUP E

On Wednesday, Dinamo Zagreb and FC Salzburg will face off.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Salzburg3120+15
2 - Chelsea3111+24
3 - Milan3111-14
4 - Zagreb3102-23

No team will be able to go through this week. Salzburg can move closer to the round of 16 with a win in Zagreb and a draw at home to Chelsea in the next fortnight.

A win in Milan would give them a three-point lead over Milan and leave them needing one more win to get through.

The group will be wide open if Milan avoids defeat at home. They will need to win by three goals to get back in the game with the Blues.

If Milan-Chelsea is a draw, Dinamo Zagreb will go second in the group with a victory over Salzburg. The Croatians are not ruled out yet.

GROUP F

Celtic and Real Madrid will play on Tuesday.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Madrid3300+69
2 - Shakhtar3111+24
3 - Leipzig3102-33
4 - Celtic3012-51

A draw against Shakhtar will send Real Madrid through to the next round.

The battle for second place will be decided by points picked up against Madrid.

They need to win in Scotland and then host Madrid in two weeks to move up to second. Matchday 6 is likely to be the most important match of the year.

Their hopes are all but over, but a first group win could put them back in the picture.

GROUP G

On Tuesday, there will be FC Copenhagen vs.Manchester City.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - Man City3300+109
2 - Dortmund3201+56
3 - Sevilla3012-71
4 - Copenhagen3012-81

If they win, they will be group winners, and if they lose, they'll be eliminated. If Sevilla draws or loses, Man City will make it to the round of 16.

Will be through with a win if the Danes lose or draw. They only need a point from their final two matches to qualify if they draw against Sevilla.

They will be eliminated with a loss if they don't beat the Germans.

If they draw or lose, they'll be out of the picture. It's necessary to beat Man City to have a chance.

GROUP H

The next games are Paris Saint-Germain vs. Benfica.

GPWDLGDPTS
1 - PSG3210+37
2 - Benfica3210+37
3 - Juventus310203
4 - M. Haifa3003-60

Paris Saint-Germain will qualify for the playoffs if they win at home.

The team won in Paris.

In order to have the best chance of finishing in the top two, they need to beat Haifa on Matchday 6.

They will be knocked out if they don't have a point at home.
