More than 200 people, including about 100 children, have been found beneath a former department store in Pembrokeshire.

St Saviour's Priory is believed to have been found underneath the former Ocky White store.

Half of the people who died in the priory are children, a reflection of their high mortality rate.

There are dormitories, scriptoriums, stables and a hospital in the priory.

Andrew Shobbrook said it was a prestigious place to be buried. You have a lot of people from all walks of life.

Before being reburied, the remains will be analysed. Some of the bodies have injuries that are consistent with battle injuries and may have been caused by arrows or musket balls.

There is a theory that the victims could be from an attack by French andWelsh forces.

The town was besieged by Owain Glyndr in 1405 and may have been a victim of that conflict.

Gaby said that he never thought he would be involved in something so big. The site is showing it's importance to the history of the area. It can be a little overwhelming at times, but it is also quite gratifying to be a part of that person's journey.

The site may have been used as a burial ground for a long time.

The Dominican Order's friary is believed to have been in the area for hundreds of years. Most monastic orders had a different agenda for the Dominicans, who went among the population to preach, pray and teach.
