If a photo posted to Reddit and two shipping manifest are to be believed, a big entrance into the smart home is about to be made by the company.
The lineup includes both white and color smart bulbs, a smart light strip, a smart plug, and indoor and outdoor internet- connected security cameras Users will be able to control their smart TVs and streaming boxes from a dedicated Roku Smart Home channel.
ZatzNotFunny and several other commenters have pointed out that Roku is leaning on Wyze to actually manufacture the hardware before branding it.
Although it is best known for its inexpensive streaming boxes, the company has expanded its hardware offerings in recent years. It has partnerships with multiple TV manufacturers to bring its streaming platform to their TVs.
There are no release dates for any of these products. An official announcement might not be too far away given that a photo of an entire stack of retail boxes was snapped by a person on the internet.
