British Airways has a new offer that will allow you to increase your balance every month.
The airline will sometimes offer bonuses to bring the price down to a more reasonable level.
The new offer is not the same as the previous one. Executive Club members can sign up for an annual or monthly subscription plan.
The new plan has four levels.
If you choose to pay annually, you'll get two months free because the cost is 10 times the monthly cost. You will be charged the entire amount upfront if you change your mind. You have to opt out if you don't want to pay for a second year.
You will be paying 1.26 cents perAvios for the lowest value option. The cost per Avios can be reduced to 0.99 cents if you pay the Adventurer plan annually.
It would be a great way to acquire Avios since we currently value them at 1.5 cents per month.
One of the best ways to redeem Avios is for short-haul flights to Europe in Euro Traveller economy class, which starts from just 4,750 Avios off-peak, plus 12.50 pounds in taxes and surcharges. You can book domestic flights on Alaska Airlines and American Airlines for as little as 7,500 Avios one-way, with taxes and fees.
A flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is in the lowest tier. You can purchase the flight for $79.89 if you use the Adventurer tier. One-way economy flights are $110-plus on most dates through the end of the year.

If you want to save money on long-haul business-class redemptions, you could purchase yourAvios upfront. It is easy to find availability in business class on the London to New York route.
If you purchase the annual Adventurer package, a return off-peak flight in business class will cost you 100,000 Avios, or almost $1 million.
British Airways charges $852.67 per person in fees, taxes and surcharges for this return flight, which adds up to $1,843.17 On the same dates, the cheapest cash fares on British Airways flights were over $3,000.
Remember that redemption fares don't earn any points, so you have to consider those when making a decision.
There is a review of the British Airways Club Suite on the refurbished plane.
It's an interesting way to increase your balance.
This is the lowest price we've ever seen for aAvios, so it's the first thing that comes to mind.
The Avios are paid monthly, which means you will get smaller amounts every month. You will have to wait for them if you need 100,000 extraAvios.
Points and miles are not worth more in the future than they are now as loyalty programs devalue their currency. This could be a way to lock in some cheap travel with relative certainty because of the rising cost of living and the fact thatAvios have held their value throughout the Pandemic.
You might not be interested in paying more to increase your balance if you are still sitting on a pile of Avios. This offer might not be a good one if you already earn 1,500 Avios a month from the program.
If you sign up for the new subscription plan, you'll be able to get the great price of just under one cent each.
