The devil is said to be the greatest trick that has ever been done. Hard Knocks had y'all fooled, so that honor should go to the editors at Hbo.
The Detroit Lions were the worst team in the history of the league before the season began. The lighthearted moments, smooth editing, andlikable and energetic head coach made people fall in love with it. They thought that a team that had never been to the Super Bowl was going to be a real threat. The Lions received more bets to reach the Super Bowl than any other team.
The people are dumb. If Dan Campbell was fired, the Ford family could make a good decision.
It was the worst of all the teams. Campbell said that it fell on him. In the first start of his career, New England's third-string quarterback Bailey Zappe threw for two scores in a 29-0 victory over Detroit.
He said that it was time to get back up.
The Lions had shown how bad things had gotten in Detroit. Everything will be looked at. Campbell said after the loss that he would look at it all. The three-point loss didn't tell the whole story of the season the Lions were having. You can check this out from The Athletic.
“The Lions have (had) scored 140 points through four games — the most in the NFL. Opponents have scored 141 against Detroit — also the most in the NFL. Those 281 points are the most combined by any team through the first four weeks of a season. The Lions became just the 30th team in the Super Bowl era to score 140-plus points in its first four games. They’re the first of that bunch to post a losing record.”
Things got worse after Campbell lost his job to the guy who used to be his boss at the Lions. The worst single-game fourth-down performance in league history was recorded by Detroit. In their first five games of the season, they allowed 170 points, which is worse than the 169 points they allowed in 2002.
Campbell didn't have it all right. This isn't the end for the Lions. The team fired Jim Caldwell and then hiredPatricia.
The reason for firing Caldwell was to take the team to the next level, according to the former Lions GM. Winning playoffs and the Super Bowl is what I mean by that.
It wasn't good enough for the brass in Detroit to let him go after he had a 9-7 season. It was better than any other Lions coach in the last 60 years, and that's saying something. In his first season, he took Detroit to the playoffs twice.
The Lions have gone 5-11 since then and are now 1-4. That's 18-50-2
The horrible coaching decisions the Ford family would make in the future were foretold by Janet Jackson singing about not knowing what you've gottil it's gone.
There are other reasons why he should be fired. Brian Flores has a class-action lawsuit against the league for its racist hiring practices, and the timing is important. I don't bring race into the equation. When the goalpost was moved for Caldwell, the Lions lowered the bar for the other two.
According to a recent report from the Washington Post, since 1990 only 11 percent of full-time head coaches have been black, while there have been 154 White coaches. Black coaches who win at least nine games are more likely to be fired than white coaches who only win six. Many competent Black coaches make that stat.
The man that won two Super Bowls as an assistant and appeared in one as a head coach is currently without a job. If the Detroit Lions really want to stop being a joke, they should swallow their pride. Firing DanCampbell would be a start. Asking if he would be interested in coming back was a good idea.
I hope Caldwell doesn't listen to their call. A motherf*cker is a person named karma.
