Phil Spencer, Microsoft's head of Xbox, has just revealed the company's dedicated device. You can see the device on top of the shelf in Spencer's Microsoft office space. The small white box is similar to the look of the Xbox Series S and will be used to access games from the console.

Many people wrongly assumed that Microsoft's streaming device would be a stick that could be plugged into a HDMI port. While Microsoft is still working on this Xbox streaming console, it will be more of a box or puck like device that attach to monitors and TVs.

The lightweight user interface and access to media apps will be included in the streaming device. A new revision of the device was still being worked on by Microsoft. The Xbox team is still working on its streaming device, and will bring it to market, according to sources.

There is a new app for the Xbox TV. The Xbox TV app supports streaming games at up to 60 frames per second, as well as launching games from Microsoft's cloud gaming service. If you log into the app with your Microsoft account, you will be able to stream games from the console directly in a browser.
