Carter Stamkos is obsessed with the ice machines that are used during hockey games.

He went to the NHL All-Star Game in Las Vegas in support of his father, Steven Stamkos. Carter was sitting on his dad's lap and repeating "I want to drive Zamboni please!" until the captain excused them from the proceedings.

Steven Stamkos said that he liked the Zamboni.

Carter Stamkos can now drive a zedoni whenever he wants. The world's first electric Zamboni ride-on toy is due to be released this month.

The 22-pound battery-powered vehicle is available through the NHL's online retail stores and the official sites for Zamboni and Kool Karz playground. There is a media center with a speaker, a "snow collection tank" for storing snow, and a horn that sounds the same as a Zamboni. It has an NHL shield and a complete set of logos for each team.

The brand manager for Zamboni said that the machine is a mascot for kids. It's going to come out. It's not a big deal. It is also very strange. Is it doing what it is supposed to be doing?

Carter's wish was granted. His father surprised him with a new piece of equipment at the ice rink. The father and son went for a walk on the ice.

The ride-on Zamboni was already in the works when Carter Stamkos had his all-star moment.

We thought we might have something for this young child. All the stars were in alignment. He said it was great.

The NHL and the Zamboni Company have been working on the ride-on for a long time.

It had to be safe. We wanted it to be as authentic as possible, and we also wanted it to have all the accessories that the machine has. It's possible to put some snow in a small storage unit.

The design elements that had plagued earlier versions were figured out by the maker of ride-on replicas. Coony said they took some liberties with where the driver sits on the dzoni, instead of a seat in the back like the real machine.

There is a conditioner in the back of the machine. Someone is going to stand on that because it has a sticker on it that says don't put your feet there. We did not want it to break or be a safety hazard. They made things into this that we wouldn't have expected.

There is a ride-on toy available.
