The popular streamer broke her back after jumping into a foam pit at the convention.
I broke my back in two places and am going to have a rod put in for support. She wrote on her account that she wanted to send her support. I feel the rain right now.
The end of a foam sword fight between Chechik and a person who later identified themselves as gaming streamer EdyBot was shown in a video of the moment that was captured on a livestream.
Chechik jumped off a small podium and landed on her tailbone after EdyBot fell into the pit. She collapsed into the foam after writheing in pain.
Probably the most painful thing I’ve seen in awhile. Twitch streamer Adriana Chechik has confirmed broken her back in two separate places following this jump at TwitchCon

The foam pit was open on Sunday, but it was closed on Monday. The pit was less than 2 feet deep at one point, but the foam pieces were still firm. The convention center's concrete floor was covered by a mat.
Standard gymnastic pits should be at least 6 feet deep, with base pit-liners foam to help absorb shock, according to one British manufacturer of foam pits. According to USA Gymnastics, foam pits range from 4 to 8 feet in depth and are usually built on a trampoline foundation.
The volunteer at the booth said they were not authorized to speak with the media, but they did say they had rules for the foam pit.
A person who said they worked for the builder of the booth and who also didn't want to be identified said, "We won't be adding any comments at this time."
A representative from the company didn't respond to requests for comment as of Sunday afternoon, while a representative from the company didn't reply as of Sunday afternoon.
The convention volunteer said he was near the pit Saturday. Paramedics came by twice, Perez said.
One of the convention volunteers said he saw Chechik's injury.
During her victory dance, she fell and landed, where she was for a short period of time.
She has more than 3.8 million followers on the photo sharing website and over 801,000 on the video game streaming site.
She has been nominated multiple times for Female Performer of the Year at the adult video news awards.
