A new extended teaser trailer for the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard dropped at NYCC.

The trailer for Star Trek: Picard was shown at New York Comic Con this weekend. A first look at the fifth season of Star Trek: Discovery, as well as a trailer for the animated series, Star Trek: Prodigy, was given to us.

There are some things to keep in mind.

Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis were reprising their roles as William Riker and Deanna Troi in the first season of Discovery. Patrick Stewart personally invited Whoopi Goldberg to reprise her role as Guinan in S2, with John DeLancie also returning as Q, eager to stage one final trial with his old friend Jean-Luc. We saw the Borg Queen, played by Annie Wersching, as well as the briefest of appearances by the man who played her.

At the end of the season, we said goodbye to three main cast members, including the new Borg Queen, Chris Rios, who chose to stay on Earth in a past alternate timelines with the woman he fell in love with.

The farewells cleared the stage for the third and final season, because the show's creators have pulled out all the stops for fans. In April, Paramount+ confirmed that they would reprise their roles, along with Frakes and Sirtis. Dr. Noonien Soong became Data's creator in S2 after he reprised his role as Data in S 1. In the third season, Spiner will once again play the role of Lore, Data's "brother" who was first introduced in the first season. His deactivation in the premier was not permanent. The guest star of "Elementary, My Dear Data" will be Daniel Davis.

We're getting a brand new villain for S3: Vadic, as well as a new cast member. Vadic seems to have a vendetta against Picard and his crew and seems to be hellbent on getting revenge on everyone.

Picard is interrupted by emissaries when he is trying to enjoy a quiet dinner. He received a distress call from Beverly. Vadic opened fire on Picard and his ship, chortling with joy at the damage caused. That's why the old crew is brought back, although a reluctant Worf tells everyone that he now prefers pacifism to combat. Riker thinks that we're all going to die. The person seems less than enthusiastic about the prospect. Vedic is capable of overcoming that reluctance. "We will burn the earth under which he stands and the night will light up with the ashes of the Federation," she said. First, we will have vengeance.

The third and final season of Star Trek: Picard will be aired on Paramount+.

Star Trek: Discovery

First look teaser for fifth season of Star Trek: Discovery.

The two-season arcs were set in the distant future. Discovery and her crew arrived in the future and were relieved to see that life still existed. Thanks to The Burn, a catastrophic event that caused all the dilithium in the Milky Way to explode, the galaxy was very different. All the planets became disconnected and the Federation was no longer in charge of them.

The Discovery crew found out what caused The Burn, they defeated the Emerald Chain, and they were able to get back to what they were before. In the S3 season finale, Discovery brought dilithium to planets that had been cut off by the Burn in order to resurrect the warp drive, which would allow travel between distant worlds once again. The captain of Discovery has been named.

Five light years in diameter moving through the galaxy was enough to destroy Book's home planet. He made some questionable choices because of his grief and strained his relationship with his friend. A new alien species, 10-C, with connected minds and a communication method beyond the scope of the crew's universal translators created the anomalies. Earth rejoined the Federation thanks to the efforts of Burnham et al.

The fifth season will kick off with a space-based treasure hunt that seems to have a bit of an Indiana Jones vibe. David Cronenberg's Kovich says that the greatest treasure in the known universe is out there. Are you waiting for something? She responded with enthusiasm, "Let's fly." The treasure is an "ancient power" that has been lost for hundreds of years. Two of those rivals are a pair of criminals. There is a new addition to the cast this season, as well as being on the bad side of things.

Star Trek: Prodigy

Midseason return trailer for Star Trek: Prodigy.

The computer-generated animated series, Star Trek: Prodigy, is aimed at a younger audience, and centers on a group of young aliens living in the Tars Lamora prison colony. They stumbled upon the abandoned Protostar and decided it was the perfect vessel to take them to the Alpha. After the events of Star Trek: Voyager, the series is set in 2383. Kate Mulgrew is the voice of Captain Kathryn Janeway, who teaches the crew how to navigate through space.

The voices of Dal, the teen who takes on the role of captain, and Zero, a non-corporeal energy-based lifeform, are voiced by Brett Gray and Angus Imrie, respectively.

We haven't had any new episodes since the February 3 episode. The Protostar and her crew were offered the release of the remaining prisoners in exchange for the return of the ship. Dal and the rest of the crew tricked theDiviner, who was sent from the future to save his people. Civil war broke out after first contact with Starfleet, and theDiviner had a plan to destroy them. He was exiled to Tars Lamora after Zero revealed their true nature. Dal and his crew saved the colony's miners. They were being watched by the real Captain Janeway on the Dauntless.

It's been weeks since the Protostar and her crew left Tars Lamora for good, and it's looking like everyone's dream of finding a place where they are truly accepted is on the verge of becoming a reality. Janeway insists that whoever stole the Protostar must be stopped. Janeway wondered if the real me was hunting them. I wish you good luck with that. The crew decided they can still help others even though they cannot join Starfleet. More crazy hijinks will happen.

The second half of Star Trek: Prodigy's first season will be aired on Paramount+. The second season is currently being produced.
