Sean McVay said his quarterback needs help after the Los Angeles Rams lost their second game in a row.
McVay said after the loss to the Cowboys that he loved Matthew Stafford. He is doing his best for the team. He is in need of some assistance. We need to be able to assist him.
In the last nine quarters, the Rams have only scored one touchdown, a 75-yard catch and run from Stafford to Kupp.
The Rams' ninth different offensive lineman to start a game this season started in place of an injured Coleman Shelton. Left tackle Joe Noteboom and right tackle Rob Havenstein have started every game.

Los Angeles has had difficulty keeping Stafford upright. Through five games, Stafford is tied for the most sacks by a Rams quarterback since the merger in 1970. He was pressured 20 times by the Cowboys defense, which is tied for the second-most in a game in his career.
The quarterback was asked how he felt after taking so many hits.
Stafford said he felt okay. It's part of the game, that's for sure.
Stafford went 6-of-15 for 59 yards and an pick-pocket when pressured on Sunday. When he wasn't facing pressure, he was 22-of-26 for 257 yards and a touchdown.
"I don't know if I have an answer for that right now," McVay said when asked how the Rams could fix the offensive line.
Whether it's guys that are playing right now or whether we need to figure out some other options, we have to be able to figure it out. It's not good enough and it isn't exclusive to one player. There are some glaring issues that prevent us from being able to operate at a level that you have seen from us.
Los Angeles rushed for 38 yards on 15 carries in the loss to the Cowboys. The Rams need to be able to run the ball.
"You can't give yourself a chance to let things develop if you're not running the ball efficiently," McVay said.
When the offense struggles, Stafford looks inside to see what he can do.
We need to find a way to get the ball in the end zone. To get more points, we need to do a better job sustaining some drives, giving ourselves some more manageable situations and finding a way to get more points.
Stafford had a touchdown and an interception on Sunday. For the second time, McVay said he doesn't think there's much more Stafford can do.
McVay thinks he's doing everything he can. He needs more assistance. Guys need to play around him. We need to be able to give him a chance to sit on his back foot just past a hitch. Matthew Stafford is my favorite.
I will ride with him at the end of the day. He's doing everything he can to help our team move the football, score points and we need to help him out more.
