As he continues to recover from a thumb injury, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback told reporters that he can hold a football.
"I'm day by day, there's a lot of growth right now, we're up hill, things are happening fast, taking it day by day when I can do more than the next day."
He is going to see a doctor.
The recovery time for the thumb injury was six to eight weeks. Cooper Rush won his fourth game in a row on Sunday with a 22-10 victory over the LA Rams.
Jerry Jones said that the quarterback wasn't able to hold the ball well enough to play in the game.
Jones said that he doesn't know when he will be back, but that he is getting better.
Jones said on Sunday that the quarterback will throw a lot this week.
