It wasn't without controversy that the Atlanta Falcons and Tom Brady lost on Sunday.
The Falcons were flagged for roughing the passer on a third-and-5 late in the fourth quarter. The drive was extended because of the controversial call.
The Athletic's Greg Auman asked the referee why Jarrett was flagged for roughing the passer.
The quarterback was thrown to the ground by the defender while he was still in the pocket. I made my decision based on that.
Fans continued to slam the call with some saying it was bad for the game.

Matthew Smith🪐 @SmithTheLdgendNot roughing the passer. They have literally nerfed hitting the QB. Love Tommy and everyone (not just him) has been getting these bad calls, but this wasn’t a good call. https://t.co/FhvFhBug4e

After the game, Brady was asked if he threw the flags.
You have to wonder if Brady thought the tackle was worth roughing the passer.
The loss of Sunday's game would have left the team at 2-2 on the year. They are first in the South going into the game against Pittsburgh.
