The New York itinerary is the first thing we look at. The trip leaves in early November and returns on Tuesday. Booking trips that involve flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays can be a good way to save money on airfare.
A nonstop flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Mexico takes about five hours and 45 minutes to complete.
New York is likely to win the most availability in this price range. The itinerary for the beginning of November is here. You can get into Puerto Vallarta on the outbound trip if you take the nonstop flights for just two hours each way.
There is a lot of availability out of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) aboard Aeromexico, but we found some availability on major domestic carriers as well. After the new year, this itinerary is available.
Aeromexico is the best option to leave from the Houston area. The lowest prices in January and February were when the best deals were most popular.
