Paul Finebaum revealed his top 4 rankings after an interesting Week 6. There is a time and a place for this.

Alabama was bumped out of the top spot in the AP college football poll last week, and Georgia reclaimed it on Sunday.

The team received 32 first-place votes and 1,535 points in the rankings to easily regain the top spot. Last week, they were two points behind Alabama.

Georgia scored 42 points against auburn on Saturday. Texas A&M had a chance to upset the top-ranked Alabama at home.

Ohio State received 20 first-place votes and 1,507 points to move up to second place.

Alabama's ranking is its lowest of the season. The Tide got 11 first place votes.

James Madison is in the AP Top 25 for the first time in its history, and Illinois is in the Top 25 for the first time in four years. The Dukes are in their first season as a member of the Sun Belt.

It's the best ranking for the Volunteers since 2005 and they're still perfect. Tennessee finished the year with a poor record and an unranked ranking.

USC was overtaken by Oklahoma State in the top 10. Ole Miss and Penn State were able to hold onto their positions.

It hadn't happened in more than a decade when Georgia moved from the top spot to the second.

In 2009, Florida and Alabama went back and forth between the top two spots.

Nebraska beat Missouri in overtime on the famous "Flea Kicker" to become the first team to drop from top to third in 25 years. Michigan moved to the top of the rankings after defeating Penn State.

After losing the title of Power 5 conference team with the longest streak of being unranked to Illinois, the Illini are off the schneid.

Next up on the list are Rutgers, Oregon State and Vanderbilt.

James Madison had won a national title in 2016 and lost to North Dakota State in the NCAA title game in both of the last two years. The Dukes have had no issues moving up so far, and have averaged 44 points a game.

Texas is in a tie with Kentucky at 22nd after beating Oklahoma.
