"Gift to aggressor Putin": Slovakia handed over two Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns to Ukraine

The European Parliament will meet on Sunday, 9 October.

Slovakia's Defence Minister, Jaroslaw Nagy, announced on Sunday the transfer of two Zuzana 2 self-propelled cannons to Ukraine.

The European Pravda cited Nagy.

The 70th birthday of Putin was celebrated with another gift. There will be even more Zuzana 2 howitzers in Ukranian.

Several gifts were received by Putin over the weekend. The head of the Slovakian Defence Ministry wrote on his Facebook page that he wished Ukraine all the best.

Slovakia and Ukraine signed a contract for the supply of howitzers. Slovakia handed over Zuzana guns to the Ukrainians, and they are already being used at the front.

The countries signed an agreement with Slovakia and decided to make a financial contribution to the production and transfer of Zuzana 2 self-propelled cannon systems.

The Zuzana 2 has the same 155mm caliber but has a shorter barrel.
