Tucker Carlson said on Fox News that the US may have been behind the attack on theNord Stream.
According to The Washington Post, parts of his commentary were aired on Russian television at least 12 times.
On his Fox News program on Tuesday, Carlson said that the US sabotaged the Russian and German oil and gas infrastructure.
During his show, the host asked if Americans had gotten the idea that the Biden administration might have been involved in the destruction of theNord Stream.
Carlson pointed to a statement made by President Joe Biden in February that he may have had something to do with the destruction of the project.
According to Russia, the damaged area of the line is under the control of the US. State-sponsored terrorism is believed to have been the cause of the damage to the pipelines.
Russia and Carlson didn't offer any proof that the US was involved in the leaks.
If the damage was caused by sabotage, it would be met with a "united and determined response" according to the NATO statement.
There were patches of sea several hundred yards in size because of the natural gas that was bubbling to the surface of the pipes.
The suspicions of sabotage have increased recently. The crime scene investigation that the Security Police conducted at theNord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipes is complete, according to a statement issued by Sweden's security police. The suspicions of sabotage have been strengthened.
There is no evidence to show who is behind an attack on the Russian and European oil and gas infrastructure.
Sir Ben Key, the first sea lord and chief of the British naval staff, said he wouldn't attribute the cause because it was not clear.
There was a leak on September 27. There was damage to three of the four lines that make up the Nord Stream 1 and 2 project. There are now four leaks in roughly 250 feet of water.
