Rugby World Cup: Wales 18-15 Scotland

Wales kicked off their World Cup campaign with a win against Scotland.

As Wales were reduced to 14 players, a second try for Megan Gaffney seemed to have salvaged a draw for Scotland.

There were two first-half tries from Alisha Butchers and Kayleigh Powell.

Elinor Snowsill was the player of the match, while Helen Nelson was the player of the night.

Scotland's fly-half missed all her kicks in the tight games.

New Zealand and Australia are the favorites to progress from Pool A.
