The first half of the season was spent learning how to be a crew together, and now the young heroes are ready to join the crew. It looks like this season will continue with Starfleet not being on the best of terms with the U.S. Protostar.
As part of the Star Trek Universe panel at New York Comic Con, Paramount showed a trailer for the rest of the first season of Prodigy. With the twist of the first half, it looks like this is going to be a race against time for Holo Janeway and her teenage crew.
The trailer teases the chase between the Protostar and the Admiral Janeway, who is upset that someone stole a prototype ship that used to be captained by her former first officer. Dal and his friends have decided that even if they can't go to Starfleet as technical criminals, they're going to do their best to bring the ideals of the show to the rest of the world.
One of their biggest fights to date is going to be against the Borg.
There was also an announcement at the panel. Ronny Cox would reprise his role as Captain in a regular guest role. Cox was the temporary captain of the Enterprise in the movie "Chain of Command" You can see a picture of his admiralty below.
When the series returns to Paramount+, the kids will need all the help they can get.
