Fueled by an unbelievable comeback, the SeattleMariners are into the American League Division Series with a 10-9 win on Saturday to complete a sweep of the Toronto BlueJays.

It was the biggest road comeback win in the history of the playoffs and the biggest comeback victory in baseball.

Seattle was in the playoffs for the first time in over a decade. The bases were loaded when J.P. Crawford hit a blooper to center. Bo Bichette and George Springer collided after Springer tried to catch the ball. The runners scored on the double to tie it.

In franchise history, the M's have won the ALCS in four of the last five years; they also won the ALCS in 1995 and 2000.

They were 35-1 to win the game when they were down seven runs. At PointsBet, Seattle was 150-1 to win.

Cal Raleigh reached on a one-out double against the pitcher in the ninth. He drove in Raleigh with a double.

Bichette walked, stole second and advanced to third on a grounder in the eighth, but Alejandro Kirk was retired by the pitcher. George Kirby, the eighth pitcher of the game, saved his first career game. Raimel Tapia lined out to end the game after Matt Chapman walked with one out.

The baseball team poured out of their locker room and celebrated in the field. The first game of the series was won by Toronto. Houston is in the ALCS.

The Blue Jays season came to an end after they were unable to host a wild-card game.

Toronto was expected to go on a long run in the playoffs. The team's offensive success in the last weeks of the season was the main factor. The Blue Jay's went 13-14 in August but rebounded through the rest of the schedule.

In its last 33 games, Toronto was 22-11 and took five of the six games that preceded the playoffs. Toronto has home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs after a win at Baltimore last week.

Toronto was off to a great start in the second game. The only players with multi home runs in the playoffs were Danny Jansen and Jose Bautista, who both hit two homers.

Carlos Santana gave Seattle's comeback a big boost with a three-run home run after Ty France scored. Toronto'sReliever couldn't close it out after Jansen's single in the seventh.

After Anthony Bass gave up hits to all three of the batters he faced in the eighth, John Schneider called on Romano for a six-out save. Crawford tied it with a first- pitch double after Romano struck out Santana and Dylan Moore.

France was struck out by Romano after the Toronto intentional walk to Rodriguez. Ray, who signed a $115 million, five-year contract with Seattle in November, gave up four runs and six hits in three-plusinnings.

The Blue Jays lost in five games to Cleveland in the ALCS in 2016 at Rogers Centre. The Cleveland Indians lost the World Series to the Cubs.

Toronto was eliminated in two games in the Wild Card series. The Blue Jays played their home games at their spring training facility in Dunedin, Florida, and their Triple-A affiliate's home park in Buffalo, New York, during the time that the series was hosted by the higher seed.
