There is a new trailer for the final season of Picard. Our previous looks focused on the nostalgia-laden return of The Next Generation's primary cast, but now we have another look.
It's not a continuation of the wild hanging threads we saw in season 2's finale, it's a new threat that's being hunted by Picard and his friends for mysterious reasons. The amount of Starfleet officers being shot and what appears to be a good chunk of its HQ imploding makes Vadic a very dire threat. Some of Jean-Luc's friends seem more willing to be there than others.
They're not the only ones. Two more LaForges will appear in the series as a result of the fact that Geordi himself appears to be one of those less-than- willing partners. The roles of Sidney La Forge and Alanda La Forge will be played by Burton's own daughter and Sharpe Chestnut.
There are two more major reveals at the end of the trailer. In the second part of "Descent", one of Picard's most regular returning faces is back, but this time as the evil twin brother of Data, who appeared in the first part of "Descent." Is it in an evenwilder twist? One more time is the Holographic Doctor.
I agree. There is a fictional character who appeared in three movies. Daniel Davis is coming back in the role. That's a banana thing.
