Australia v England: Jos Buttler '100% fit' to make return

Buttler missed almost two months with a calf injury.

The hosts of the T20 World Cup will face England in Perth on Sunday, followed by two other matches in Australia.

They have one more warm-up match with Pakistan before their World Cup opener against Afghanistan in Perth on 22 October.

England have concerns over Liam Livingstone, who has an ankle injury and could miss the start of the tournament, even though Buttler is fit.

Buttler said that he is still a little way off. Hopefully he'll be in top shape before the World Cup starts.

Three players have joined up with England since the Pakistan tour, including Livingstone.

The Test captain is set to play in his first T20 international in over a year.

Buttler said that they want to give Ben as much opportunity as possible.

We want to get him up the order as high as we can, give him as much responsibility as possible, and allow him to play his way to get the best out of him.

Buttler's return at the top of the order means England will have to make a choice between Phil Salt and Alex Hales.

They are both great options, with different styles. I'll have a chat with the coach and make a decision.

Australia only completed a 2-0 series win over the West Indies on the other side of the country on Friday, so they've made changes to their squad.

Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa have not been working.

Tim David made 42 from 20 balls in the victory.

David had played 14 previous internationals for Singapore, the country of his birth, and built his reputation through a string of impressive performances.
