Houston edges Memphis on TD in final seconds (0:20)

Houston defeated Memphis 33-32 on a two-yard touchdown by KeSean Carter in the final seconds. 0:20.

Houston scored 26 fourth-quarter points to stun Memphis and win the game 33-32.

With 1 minute, 17 seconds to go, Tune threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to KeSean Carter that gave Houston a 32-26 lead. Houston was in control after the onside kick. Six plays later, Carter and Tune connected for a 2-yard touchdown to win the game.

When a team is behind by 19 or more points in the fourth quarter, they are 0-129 this season.

Since ending a five-game losing streak to Memphis in a 31-13 victory last season, Houston has won two in a row.

The quarterback was 36-of-57 with three touchdown passes. Nathaniel Dell had 10 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Carter had four catches.

Memphis appeared to be on its way to an easy victory when Henigan threw a pass to Gabriel Rogers. Rogers avoided three defenders and ran back toward the logo and lofted a pass to Asa Martin in the end zone for a 41-yard touchdown that gave Memphis a 27-13 lead with 14:50 left.

Chris Howard's fourth field goal, a 39-yarder, gave the Tigers a 32-19 lead with 4:04 to play after Houston's Jayce Rogers returned a kick 100 yards for a touchdown.

Henigan threw for 241 yards for Memphis.
