President Biden Says He's Concerned About Nuclear "Armageddon"

There are no new developments to back up the claims that the world is closer to a nuclear Armageddon than it has been in the past.

"We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis," the president told his audience at a Democratic fundraiser on Thursday.

Biden said that Putin may take the nuclear option because his military is not performing as well as he would like.

According to officials briefed on the matter, there is no new intel to back up Biden's claims.

The official said that the comment is in line with the president's previous comments.
