Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is still in the concussion protocol and will not travel with the Miami Dolphins for this weekend's game against the New York Jets.
Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during the Dolphins' loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Several outside specialists are being utilized. You get to see him every day and we'll just take it from there. He calls me beast all the time, so it's nice when I walk down the hallway and hear, "What up, beast?" We'll just take it day by day and not give off the beast vibe.
Tagovailoa won't be placed on injured reserve this weekend and could return to the field in four games.
Teddy Bridgewater will make his first start for the Dolphins on Sunday and will be backed up by rookies.
Hill was limited in practice with a quad injury. The Dolphins are hopeful that Hill will play, but the coach wouldn't give much more than that to his old friend, the Jets coach.
"I'm pretty sure that Tyreek will play or he won't play, that's all I can say," he said. That's all he is getting.
