No Man's Sky is coming to the Nintendo Switch today and the next major update will bring the game up to version 4.0.

There are a number of notable features in the 21st free update for the game, including a streamlined save system, a new relaxed mode, and an increased level cap. The game is easier to pick up and play now that it's in a portable home. Sean Murray described the update as a chance to "focus on some of the basics" of the game.

There are a lot of updates to the game this year, including the addition of space whales, giant freighters, and big changes for combat. I want to start up my diary again.
